About Rich Ropp
A literal “grass roots” beginning in aviation cleaning Piper Cub aircraft in exchange for flight lessons led me to pursue increasingly advanced roles over the last 30 years at companies including Million Air, Midcoast, Jet Aviation, JetCorp, Sentient, JSSI, and Jet Aviation. I founded and operated Aircraft Appearances in Florida and Missouri. I currently serve as President of Jet Linx St. Louis, responsible for strategic planning, P&L and budget oversight, business development for the aircraft fleet and jet cards as well as team and facility footprint. I am served a 3rd term as Treasurer for the Greater St. Louis Business Aviation Association (GSLBAA) prior to becoming President. I was a 5-year member of the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Committee. My passion for aviation has not waivered and I am more excited than ever about the opportunities, experiences, and challenges that are still to come!

Jet Linx Aviation - I am charged with developing the annual strategic plan and revenue growth, aircraft management sales and account oversight, corporate jet card sales, overseeing flight operation/base infrastructure development, and instituting best practices and processes at Jet Linx St. Louis. I manage the day-to-day operations and staff at our new state-of-the-art facility at Lambert International Airport (KSTL). Our team will continue to provide the best-in-class private jet experience in the marketplace by offering an exclusive, 'private members only' terminal facility and customized, high-touch services meeting and beating the most discerning customer needs. https://www.jetlinx.com/st-louis/ Other strengths include HNW/c-suite sales, networking and partnerships for global aviation solutions, charter/jet card sales, aircraft management sales, aircraft acquisition oversight services, flight support services, high-touch customer service, etc. Excellent communicator and team builder and experienced with most hardware and software systems.
Greater St. Louis Business Aviation Association (GSLBAA) - I joined as the Treasurer for GSLBAA in November, 2005 and remained until late 2007. Once again, I was elected to the Treasury role in March 2011 then voted in as President in 2016. I now serve as Past President. This organization represents the St. Louis aviation interests in a small group format and currently has approximately 300 members. Charitable events fund Wings of Hope, GSLBAA Educational Foundation and scholarships, and other local charitable causes. www.gslbaa.org .
NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Committee - I was appointed to the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Committee in November, 2005 and assisted with the regional group development, ambassador program, and conference session development. This Committee sponsors an annual conference providing an important opportunity to exchange information on common solutions to problems faced by schedulers and dispatchers. The NBAA website is www.nbaa.org and the direct link to the Schedulers and Dispatchers site is www.nbaa.org/about/leadership/committees/sched/. See Rich Ropp's NBAA Video Testimonial - Click Here.
Wings of Hope - I was invited to serve on the Board of Directors in 2016. My interest in WoH began when I purchased a "medical mission trip" during the the Wings of Hope Annual Dinner Gala in 2005. What an amazing experience this was and one that we shall never forget. Although exhausted upon our arrival home, we were more thankful than ever for all that we have and the new friendships that we made. I now fear that all future trips/vacations shall be rather boring in comparison to Ecuador! Photos of this trip can be viewed at http://webpages.charter.net/theropps/ecuador.htm .
Calvary Church - I volunteer as a greeter, Sunday School Teacher, and with other volunteer duties in addition to occasional mission trips (Haiti twice) https://www.facebook.com/Calvary-Haiti-Mission-155031534534121/. See a video testimony here, http://vimeo.com/54983891
